Have you ever made payment arrangements with a Debt Buyer, and they changed the date?

A debt buyer puchased my debt from the original creditor, so I've made payment arrangments with them to pay off the balance since it was still within statute of limitations. After 8 payments, the debt buyer sent me a letter saying that my next payment is due two weeks earlier than we agreed upon. I have a letter from them showing they agreed to a later due date. Do they do this often? Also, I've always made the payments two weeks before it was due, but I still want the later date we agreed upon just in case I need more time in the future?

Also, if I decide to file bankruptcy, can I add this debt buyer to the bakruptcy papers, even though I've resumed payments on a six year old debt, that has four years left within SOL?

That is why you should never make deals with CA's or JDB's, especially when they are not in writing.

In my message I explained that I have a letter from them showing the date we originaly agreed upon, for due date. That's why I'm wondering why they've changed the date. I will call next time I'm out, as they don't have my phone number.
