mixman55
Here's my situation, I have about 20 credit cards almost all of them maxed out, I bought a used car for around $6000 and I spread the cost between 6 credit cards.I probably won't be able to make the minimum payments on some of my credit cards in the next few weeks cause with the purchase of the used car I'm totally maxed out.My question is since my purchase of the used car is the last transaction on those 6 credit cards, and credit card companies can see the used car dealers name on my statement, is there any way the credit card company or debt collection agency can go after the car I just bought in the future???Thanks in advance... Recovering Attorney
You paid cash for the car using the credit cards? No.
rm2738
Think of it this way, if you walk into Best Buy and buy $6000 worth of home entertainment equipment and decide not to pay your CC bill, can they come and repo your equipment. That's why CC's are considered "Unsecured Credit."
