OSI, Pacific NW Coll, Sentry Credit...

I have some questions...NOTE: If you only thoughts regarding ANY part of this (not necessarily ALL of it) that'd be great)

I have some collections with OSI, Pacific Northwest Collections and Sentry Credit.

These debts are all 4-5 yrs of age.

OSI-Ticket I got on Mother's Day for expired tabs, no proof of insurance. I was driving our old car to the vet, it was an emergency and no--that crap was not on my mind at the time. Date of last payment was 10/04 (I tried making payments, stupid me). I wouldn't mind doing a PFD on it. I don't dispute this acct.

I owe 663.00

Pacific Northwest Collections-Vet bill (not for above issue) that went to collections. I attempted a settlement last year via the CA and was denied entirely, they wouldn't even negotiate, offered no counter-offer, etc. Date of last payment 04/02 (when the debt occured, this is correct) Should I try original creditor? I hate these people.

I owe 429.00

Sentry Credit-Medical Bill. I had a m/c and my insurance paid out, but the remaining owed wasn't paid and it went to collections. Date of last payment is listed as 10/06 (NO WAY) I'd like to do a PFD.

I owe 648.00

Does anyone have thoughts about how I should tackle these? I can't bother right now, trying to do a refi and the re-age would KILL my FICO, I know...but I need a plan of action and I'm getting scatter brained! These are the last things on my CR'S!!

Any input if you know anything about any of the above mentioned companies will ALSO be welcome and YES, I will be searching the site for other listed info here at the board.

TIA for your time.

I also have 3 tl from sentry on my credit report for medical bills, i called first to feel them out. They stated they don't get anything from the clinic I went to except the balance due. I has gonna try the HIPPA tactic, but since he said they don't have an invoice I just dv'd them CMRRR. I guess we'll see what happens and I'll let you know I haven't received a green card yet but when I do I plan to dispute with CRA (only appearing on transunion).

I like the leverage tatic. Are they reporting 100% correctly on all CRA's? If not, IMO, I would dispute, wait for it to come back verified, then dispute with the CA giving them 15 days or so, then complaints, then ITS with a nicely written claim. So far, it's worked two times and I'm going for 3. After I do all these, in my ITS, I offer to "settle the debt for 50% or whatever". :goodluck:

In my case, everything seems to be on the level and reporting correctly. DARN IT! LOL. As for Pacific Northwest Collections, they REFUSE any sort of settlement other than full payment. I just can't see the point in paying it NOW. It's due to fall off in just under 2 yrs time! The only thing I did not try w/ that case was contacting the original creditor and requesting settlement.
