QMAX21
Hi everybody,I have good news. I had a judgment removed that was tarnishing my credit the last few years. Now my only thing I need to know is that only 2 out of the three credit bureaus actually responded to my dispute in writing (mailing me a letter saying that we acknowledge that you are disputing this item, etc.) The only CRA who didn't was Transunion. Based off of what I know:Credit bureaus if they fail to respond to your written disputes within 30 days (a 15 day extension may be granted if they receive information from the creditor within the first 30 days) You can sue based off:FCRA Section 611 Part (A)(1) Should I go ahead and file a lawsuit even though Transunion didn't send me anything in the mail but they did remove the negative listing. I don't know if this has been asked before.P.S. How do you calculate your own credit score?
nascar
P.S. How do you calculate your own credit score?Easy...divide the circumference of the earth by the length of the Mississippi River; multiply by the elevation of your hometown (espressed in miles);find the square root, then divide that by the specific gravity of sodium hydroxide. (Margin of error, plus or minus 550 points)

FICO scoring is a closely guarded secret. It is, afterall, what FICO charge for. There are some very broad general guidelines that you can use to improve your scores (you'll have to do your own searching), but, there isn't anyway that anyone outside of FICO can tell exactly how these guidelines translate into an actual number. pjfan
Congrats on getting it removed, that is a feat in itself! On that note why do you want to sue? Just curious. You'd have a very tough time winning in court.
