CreditOne Bank "Validation"

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I need a little assistance here.

I sent a DV to CreditOne Bank a couple of weeks ago not knowing who they were but having an idea..........anyway I also did a dispute with two of the CRAs which are still pending. Lo and behold, on Friday I receive a letter saying that they were in receipt of my request for validation however they needed more info. The account number that I sent which I obtained from my CR was a partial and I do not have the same address nor do the two CRAs that I disputed with. I want to be careful with this as to not provide them any extra info that might help their cause.

Does anyone have any advice? Letters I should send? Procedures I should follow? Should I just wait on the CRAs to finsh their "investigation"

I would wait and have the CRA's verify. If you are DVing CreditOne, I would not send them more information. It's their responsibility to prove you owe this debt. Let the CRA's verify this for you. :)++

  • 2 weeks later...

Results are in and they did in fact verify to all 3 CRAs.

I guess the next step is MOV?

I'm not sure if CreditOne is a CA or not but I think it was First National Bank of Marin.... Could this be the Original Creditor with a different name?

Anyone?

Thanks.
