pinkeysas
Do CRA's at anytime check the validity of accounts listed on someones report WITHOUT being asked to by the consumer? Here's why I ask.......... I printed out my free copies of my CR's last year (06) and again this year (07). I have been going through them to see if i can find any discrepancies. I came across something sort of strange....... I think. On my 2006 TRANSUNION report there is a CA called Equinox Financial being reported with a estimated date of removal showing as 8/2009.On my 2007 TRANSUNION report Equinox Financial is NO LONGER BEING LISTED.On my 2006 and 2007 EXPERIAN CR Equinox Financial is being reported.I am just wondering if there is an underlined reason whhy one CRA would drop it and it would remain on another???? someonesomewhere
Do CRA's at anytime check the validity of accounts listed on someones report WITHOUT being asked to by the consumer?I suppose anything is possible. If one were to file "a lot" of disputes CMRRR, it's conceivable the CRA might believe, "Uh oh, this person is building a paper trail to sue us. Susan get on the horn and call every creditor on this report. I want them all verified or deleted by COB tomorrow. C'mon people, we've got a business to run, and we won't let those CICers take us down. Let's move."I am just wondering if there is an underlined reason whhy one CRA would drop it and it would remain on another????More than likely, I would say the OC or CA incorrectly reported to one or more of the CRAs. DOFD might have been reported differently and thus would drop one's CR at different times with different CRAs.
