Bjoeboo
ok so the CA validated my debt using an old copy of my bill but I'm not giving up.I think I'll send this sample letter to CRA as instructed here: http://www.creditinfocenter.com/forms/sampleletter15.shtmlbut whose name do I put at top where it says "company"? Do I put the CRA or the CA? I know its mailed to CRA but I think I should put the CAs name at top of letter otherwise letter doesn't make since. Why would the CRA be calling me continuously? Why would the CRA be calling me continuously? The CRA shouldn't be calling you. You should address the letter to TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN at the CRAs. NO you do not put the CAs name on the letter other than in the description of where you are disputing. Make sure it is DETAILED! Make sure you include the account number listed in the CR.Keep a copy of the letter you send. Make sure you send it CMRRR.
nascar
That letter is not meant to be sent to a CRA. The heading on that page is incorrect. In fact, that letter shouldn't be sent to ANYONE, unless you want to make sure they know you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. thomassl
The heading on the letter is "incorrect". It should probably read, Letter to Collection Agencies when they fail to Validate! This letter does not go to the credit bureaus as it would make you appear "nuts"! It really needs to be corrected!
