Kat99
A couple of years ago, I was surfing online and I answered a promo for a free telephone. At the time, I did not understand and/or know that this phone also include service with Sprint. I rcvd the phone but never activated Sprint service, etc. They started sending me bills for $289 and they called me and i told them if I never even had the service, made a call, etc., how can thier be a bill? I disputed the CRA but i got shot down. Does anyone know the laws on online orders, offers, etc. I never signed a hard copy of anything. Any help would be appreciated as this sprint thing has been killlllllingggggg meeeee.
gypsie
Unfortunately, I'm guessing you'll have to suck this one up.With most offers there is a page where you must click to "yes you have read the agreement/understand the agreement", (usually you can not advance to the next page until you click on it) and this legally covers them.
