willingtocope
Is any service provide accurate monitoring (credit reports & scores) from all 3 CRAs?No, not really. The 3-in-1 credit reports are usually out of date. And only myfico.com provides an accurate score (since they're the ones that create them). All the other scores are FAKO.IMHO, its best to start with www.annualcreditreport.com and get your yearly free reports directly from the CRAs. If you find something to dispute, you can get another freebie.
someonesomewhere
What BFG said. Start with annualcreditreport.comI started with them, disputed some things, used it till the access ran out, and only then did I sign up for TU's TrueCredit. If you use this link thru Walmart Financial Services, you can get TC for $11.21 a month.https://www.truecredit.com/products/optimizedOrder.jsp?versionID=0&package=TriBureauCMU&formName=freeTriBureauCMUChoice&cb=WalMart

The FAKO scores are merely an indicator and not a true reflection of your FICO scores. FICO scores can only be obtained thru MyFico.comThe benefit of a monitoring service is being able to see your report anytime you want, presumably in real time but likely a couple of days or more behind. You don't subscribe to a monitoring service, any monitoring service, for the FAKO scores. That's like going to Vegas or booking a cruise for the free food. There are cheaper ways to eat, and the true benefits are very different.
aspire
It looks like the best solution for credit monitoring is sign up for both - truecredit($11) and myfico score watch($9).
someonesomewhere
It looks like the best solution for credit monitoring is sign up for both - truecredit($11) and myfico score watch($9).Except I believe MyFico Score Watch charges you each time you pull your report. TC lets you pull it every 24 hours, and that's included in the $11 a month.

someonesomewhere
I noticed that your FAKO scores are higher than your FICO, in my case it's the other way around.Anecdotally, most folks I've talked to have had higher FAKOs, but some have reported higher FICOs.All part of the mysteriously marvelous world of credit. credit2fly
Does Scores change on TC if there are credit alerts (baddies) on your file? My score was recently bumped high and today after an update I noticed that the scores went down on TU and EX. My EQ went up by 4 points ( no alerts on EQ). ADSOFT
Well I just confirmed (after ordering the service) that Privacy Guard "DOES NOT" provide a new credit report every 24 hours like it used to. You only get 1 report every 30 days but have unlimited views of that report, .... wow.I cancelled the service after 2 days.
