WILLY
I recently sent CMRRR disputes to the CRA. Should I have sent DV to the CA and OC? Does the timing of the disputes sent vs the DV sent affect any violations on the part of the OC or CA?
SecretAgentWoman
For CAs, you DV first, THEN dispute with the CRAs. You can wait a few days, or a month, etc, depending on your needs. For OCs, you dispute first with the CRA, then you send a request for verification to the OC. You should wait the full 30 - 45 days before the second step.Either way, sometimes the first step works and you don't need the second.
sjokinley
I disputed with the CRA's first, just to see what would fall off. Then I dv'd the rest. I figured why waste the extra postage if I didn't need to. pinkeysas
Sjokinley, When you disputed with the CRA's where you disputing a CA account or a OC account?Did anything you disputed fall off by ONLY disputing with the CRA's?
divemedic
It doesn't matter if you dispute with the CRA before you send letters, as long as you wait for the investigation to be completed before you send the letters, and then you redispute as soon as you get the green cards back.
