Chevron gas approved!!!!!!!! Like, wow.

Recommended Posts

Here in Texas, it was Equifax, and my FAKO was a putrid 535...I really didn't have much hope.

However, I understand they have a "credit builder" program with higher fees for the high risk people. I'm sure that is what I have been offered. Won't know until I get the membership agreement. So far I only got a recording with a congrats from them. :)

I say go for it!

I will only ever pay in full. Especially gas - I can't put my head around anyone who would pay that out with finance charges...

I happen to have Chevrons all around my home and work, so it is as simple as buying my gas and paying for it. Right now Chevron also has a 10% gas points program going on with new cards, too. w00t.

I'm a-gonna have my first unsecured card from a normal bank in like - um, 10 years!

I think I'm gonna be a Chevron fan for life.

Thought I'd share.

So, what number do I call to find out my CL?

CONGRATS!!!!

What was the process and timeframe for finding out if you're approved?

ahhh yes, i got a chevron a couple years ago with a 575 and it was an amazing feeling to be approved for something! i got a $300 CL and i charged some flowers and paid it off right away so it would show up on my reports. i haven't touched it since
