gypsie
For those interested ( Jen, I know you wanted to know ) in what Washington Mutual has done for me....In Feb, I was approved for a WaMu CC. My TU score was 701 with a BK. TU is the only CR they pulled. They gave me a $5000.00 CL.They have reported to all 3 bureaus and my scores have jumped for 2 of them.TU from 701 to 719EQ from 663 to 673EX has remained the same at 701I've put $400.00 on the card and already paid $250.00 of that.My interest rate is 0% until August. Then it will go to the "standard APR" of 8.99% and 11.74% for cash advances.

jq26
Thanks Gypsie...We got the card on Friday....Not reported yet, but I'll keep you updated! No complaints here with WaMu (Providian at the time). That was the first decent card after my BK7. They gave $2000 and reported immediately. Online pay system is decent too. The only complaint is minor- they stuff my mailbox full of cash advance checks every month!

They are quite good in increasing your limits on a regular basis. My interest rate is not nearly as good as yours though...but I still get a lot of their checks in the mail with great interest rate offers purchases and balance transfers. They've helped me pay off a lot of cc debt with their offers.
LNY
I started out with a $7,000 limit and got a CLI to $10,000 after 6 months. Meanwhile, I'd never put more than about $200 on the card.I got a second card from them in November for $6,000. I doubt there will be a CLI for that one, as I hardly ever use the $16,000 I already have with them.

iomega71
WAMU is excellent. 2nd card after BK, got Orchard Secured. WIth the full benefits of a prime platinum card like rental car insurance is great. Love the card. Haven't received CLI yet. Got 3500 CL after completing app online. I have received checks for the past 2 months from them.

SugarNspice
Wow thats great! Does anyone is Michigan know who they pull? I'd love for my DH to get that card, I'm still waiting for 2 more AU cards to report on his CR so his scores will be much better.
cmwins
Does anyone know how well their memory is? I filed BK on Providian in 2002. Should I continue to wait before applying? Providian is not on any of my CRs.
ba0501
I applied for WAMU a few months back. I was declined due to a Providian CO in 2000. I'd say a pretty good memory, or least in my case. The Providian CO has been off my reports for at least a year or there abouts.
Got FICO?
Just took the plunge and got denied! TU is 660 with 1 collection med. over 2 years and 1 CO for 1st premier back in 01 for 600. Other than that, I have a fraud alert---extended (?) and 18 months of on time payments.Really thought I'd get this one. OH WELL
Fozzle
cmwins -I got a "pre-approved" offer from them last week for their Visa Platium card (product #22AH2F); 11.99% on BTs, 0% till January '09 on purchases. I was approved with a $5K limit with scores around the 710 area. I was a little surprised because I had a Providian charge-off in 2002, so I guess your mileage may vary. And congrats to Gypsie!
