bramma_99
Well, I have about 8 collection accounts that I want to try and remove, so hear goes...I have 4 different collection accounts from a company called Medclear from emergency room visits when I was uninsured in college. I tried a quick call to them, asking if there was anyone who could authorize a PFD, or which I was quickly told there wasn't. What is my next step? Should I dispute it through the CRA's? Also, being a medical debt, won't it be easily verified? Well, any help is greatly appreciated. My FICO score is 503, and I have less than $4,000 in debt on there. I really want to get this cleaned up. Well, thanks all and I'm elated I found this wonderful site! The success stories make me glad for everyone! kevin3344
DV CMRRR. Depending on how old the debt is, you can negotiate a PFD later after they send you validation. Only correspond in writing though, never talk to a CA on the phone.________California Dispensaries Edited September 9, 2011 by kevin3344

momof5
Actually MedClr is NCO by another name. Challenge it as "I have no idea why you put this on my CR" as a part of your DV and request that since you don't believe it is yours, that they delete the TL.....NCO folds pretty easy these days (YMMV)
kevin3344
I've always used the DV letter from this site...with good results I might add. Look for it at the Debt Validation link at the top of this board.________HotLilu Edited September 9, 2011 by kevin3344
