pinkeysas
I was just trying to do an online dispute with Equifax. They forwarded me to a website for their "affiliate" CSC Credit Servies, that they say handles my disputes based on my zip code.I was filling out the dispute form for this CSC Credit Services and they were asking for my phone # and drivers liscense #. Is it normal to be giving asked for that info? Because when I disputed with TU and EX. I didd not have to give any of that info.
pinkeysas
Has anyone ever ran into my situation stated in the above post before? I am not wanting to go forward with my disputes with Equifax until I see what someone says about my post above. Thanks.
unusualsuspect
I never do online disputes. Always do them in writing. You'll need the paper trail in case you need to take action against Equifax.Has anyone ever ran into my situation stated in the above post before? I am not wanting to go forward with my disputes with Equifax until I see what someone says about my post above. Thanks.

someonesomewhere
I dont plan on going through suing or anything, I need these off my reports asap. If they come back verified I am going to pay them.Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but paying 'em ain't gonna get 'em off your reports asap. If these are collections, you'll end up with paid collections. If you don't care, and they will likely sit there until 7 years after DOFD, then pay 'em.My question is Should I be concerend about giving my drivers liscense # and phone # like Equifax or (CSC credit services) is requesting me to in order to accept my dispute?????Wait, you're gonna just pay a CA, but you're worried about sending your Driver's License # and Phone # to the CRA?If you've ever called 'em, they've got your number. If not, anyone can likely find you if they've got your name and address, which the CRAs do.http://www.creditinfocenter.com/identity/PrivacyProtection.shtmlYour Driver's License #? Unless the algorithm has recently changed, name, sex and DOB and they are already within 2 digits.http://www.highprogrammer.com/alan/numbers/dl_wi/
