Mid South Credit - I need HELP!

Hello,

I requested my credit about a week ago only to find out that my score is even lower than I thought. In January it was 609 now it is 515!

Anyway, I have tried to remain optimistic & just begin to pay the things that I am able to pay! I called a collection agency(it was before I found this site-I now know that calling is a major boo-boo!). Anyway, I called and asked that MId South verify the account, I have yet to receive anything verifying and I am being alerted by email daily saying something negative has been added to my report. What was initially on my report once has been turned into 15 accounts totaling $7200. They all seem to be legit hospital bills 12 of which are 5 yrs or older.

Here is where I need help. The lady at Mid South, has told me that the best thing for me to do would be to pay the entire amt - at that time they will remove it from my credit completely as if I never owed the bill. I let her now that was not an option. The next thing the CA wanted to do was combine all 15 accounts and set up a payment arrangement - ok possibility. This was my thinking- pay off the new accounts(those within the last 18months) and have them completely removed. Then set up the older accounts for repayment - for a fraction of what is do.....PLEASE ADVISE!

Suggestions Are More Than Appreciated!

Ask them to put it in writing. Then you will have violations and proof that they are poisoning your CR.
