LOL.. Now I need a little direction.

Ok...we disputed 4 tradelines...1 delete and 3 "updated"

(Most of these are being reported to more than one CRA according to TU, but EX is the only one who's disputes are done)

The delete...YAY..but its still showing on the 2 other CRA's. Will follow it.

2 of the 3 have updated to "paid" At the risk of sounding like a deadbeat...it didn't happen.

The last one was just verified I guess...no change at all. I'm gonna try to get a PFD for them...a piddly $76.

These are all piddly amounts. The highest one is $492. Next one is $114.

So now what? DV the CA's that now have these as "paid"? I wouldn't mind really paying them if it was going to help. But, if they haven't a clue, then I would also like them to be gone.

This is what gets me about "credit". You get penalized for trying to do the right thing. And all that's negative on my DH's reports is stupid crap. By looking at the score, you'd think "wow...that guy sucks at managing debt...he's probably thousands behind". But if you look at the big picture, you would see insurance errors, and really small, forgotten about debts.

So glad I found this place!!

My DH had a reposession that was showing as not paid. When I disputed it came back as paid. I disputed once again and they deleted the whole TL. I also had a medical bill sent to collection that they verified as paid, which I NEVER paid it. Once again I disputed it the 2nd time around and they deleted it also. If that doesnt work both times I usally ask for MOV. and take it from there. This is just what I've had luck with.

May I ask what your official dispute reason was? Just curious, seems like a success!

Even though the DV's won't be timely...should I still send them CMRRR?

mommabear-that's correct. Always do some form of mail that requires a delivery confirmation. Even though the only thing they are required to do, once past the initial 30 days, is inform the CRA's that you are in dispute. If not, violation. Other than that, the DV will only go to show them that you aren't their normal pushover debtor that caves w/pressure and maybe they'll give up. When they give up and you dispute again through the CRA's maybe they don't bother to verify TL and it gets deleted. That's about all the DV does at this point. Plus it shows you made the effort to get validation and you can show that to a judge (in the form of the delivery confirmations) if need be. Your honor, boo hoo, I tried to get them to tell me it was my debt but they never did, boo, hoo. Ya know what I mean?
