chilton1
:catholic: I dont know what is going on over at Equifax, but strange things are happening. Capital one is gone, collect America and now the orchard bank account is gone. I don't know if i should crawl under my desk and cry tears of joy or just sit here and wait for the $hit to hit the fan when they all come back.Is it possible that I am bumping negatives off my report. Well All i have now is the OC providian and I am going to dispute that now and hope it drops off as well.I can't beleive i have one negative down from too many to count all since my efforts started last summer.I am going to give it a few weeks before i rejoice. :catholic:
TheRoadBack
same thing happened to me.... I dont think it has to do with bumping though. I have disputed they have verified and voila a few weeks later gone. But I think there is something else going on just can't put my finger on it quite yet. DO you have a fa on your cr? chilton1
Yes, I have a fraud alert. The FA has been on since november last year. When i disputed some inquires about 2 months ago they extended the Fa until june 07.I am a bit reluctant to rejoice. I just hope all the crap does not return. LNY
It's the other side of EQ bumpage... choppage. You're lucky they were all negatives. Most people helplessly watch positive TLs go bye-bye.

LNY
LNY, are you saying there is some truth to bumping tl's?On EQ there is. I've never heard of it elsewhere. Not related to bumpage, anyway. I had a 5-year closed positive inexplicably disappear from EX last year, for example. That's not bumpage-related.
chilton1
Holy Mary :catholic: Thanks LNY. Now you have scared me straight. No more OCD credit report pulling. No more new credit report addiction. I have 34 positive trade line and one negative. I will now wait for the bureau to mail me their findings. I better stop with the pulling every day and start pulling a report no more than once per week or every two weeks. I only have one negative left on equifax. I better leave well enough alone. I will dispute the negative and wait for mercy but no more bumping for me.

Yes, if you have 25 inquiries and need them to disappear, it can be worth taking the chance. But not just for the sake of it.

I need a drink!!!!!Actually, in my case EQ bumps quicker than TU. I have no inquires on Equifax all bumped off. My Eq file is the smallest with the 34 TLs and that is the bureau that split and has all the action. I think those cheap Ba$tard$ alot the least amount of space.TU I have 38 TL and I am able to bump without a split knock on wood. EXP. Nothing. No split. No bump. Nothing. Talk about choppage.....or something to that effect....My wife has not checked her CR in years. I finally get her to do it through TC and on her 3rd daily pull TU is COMPLETELY gone.I did not dispute anything just 3 daily pulls and it's gone, everything on TU.Could be a good thing or bad.... They had some computer problems and lots of people found this happened to them. Some just had TLs disappear, others found their reports reverted back several months, or old negatives reinserted. I have been lucky (knock on wood) and not seen any ill effects so far.
