Jenny22
In their first letter they stated the debt amount, then a service fee of $30 and then a bank fee of $10. (This was from a returned check - the check # and the amount written was correct in their letter) The returned check was an oversight and I intend to pay it, but the fact that I asked them what these charges were for and they admitted that the bank fee of $10 was incorrect, it was only $2 and "it has been changed", leads me to believe that had I paid their stupid little fees, right or wrong, I would have never known it. I'm wondering if I should pay the original check amount and tell them to h*ll with their fees. Or should I send them another DV letter?
