Now that I have all the collection agencies off, my goal now is to get the original creditors off who actually placed it into collection to start with, can someone be kind enough to tell me if this letter will work to send tot he CRAs?EquifaxP.O. Box 740241Atlanta, GA 30374-0241RE: Account #**** / WFNNB/PEEBLEDear Sir/Madame:This is a request for deletion of a disputed item that is possibly reporting inaccurate information. I have attempted to have this alleged debt verified by the alleged creditor to no avail. I am respectfully requesting that Equifax do what is legally mandated by the FCRA and or FDCPA, and delete the account listing.WFNNB/PEEBLE, Account #****Due to possible inaccuracies in this account, I must demand that the validation I hereby lawfully request be in the form of a notarized statement by a person with original knowledge of the debt as it was constituted and who can testify that the debt was incurred legally.I feel the account referenced above is incorrect and after sending two letters requesting either validation or proof that the information being reported is correct I have received no response. I ask that the account be investigated and verified or deleted from my credit report as it’s in violation of the FCRA.Sincerely,MeThanks for any input on this. I'm in the process of getting my CA removed I have had luck with 2 so far through DV and contacting AG, FTC. Could you please tell me how did you get yours removed? Were they old accounts? How many did you have? And did it take a long time to get removed. And personally i think that CA are easier to get removed than OC. casey133 Posted April 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 I just started my credit repair in Jan of '07 and so far have gotten 4 collections knocked off, the newest one I think was 2004.I used the standard 1-2 punch with one difference, everyone says you send the second letter to the CRA after you have given the CA several changes to varify and they don't, I never gave them that much time.I send DV letter to CA (CMRR)The same day they get my letter I mail out the dispute letter to the CRA(s) they were reporting the collection to saying I have heard no reply from them.For some reason the collections dropped like flies and no sign of them yet (knock on wood again Thanks for the input btw, anyone else care to chime in and give their $0.02 on the wording of the eltter I plan to send?
