Equifax deleted ALL negatives

Recommended Posts

I disputed a bunch of stuff on my DH credit report. They deleted everything but one TL which was for verizon wireless and thats going to fall off this month. They even deleted a reposession from 2003. We received the results in the mail and it says for each TL "we have researched the collection account. The results are" This item has been deleted from the credit file. If you have additional questions please contact: Equifax info svcs. adresss. Usually when I get the equifax results they list the CA adress as contact info and the account number is usually included. This doesnt have any of that. I'm sure they made a mistake. Do you think they can catch the mistake and reinsert everything? His score jumped 90 points.

I don't think it will get reinserted. Of the big 3, EQ is BY FAR the easiest to deal with. It took me 3 rounds of disputes, but I too have every single negative and every single inquiry removed from my EQ report. All but one of them fell off on the very first dispute.

We try to stay away from making definitive statements like this, as it's different for everyone. For you, EQ is by far the easiest to deal with. (For me, it's the worst.)

There's exceptions but I don't think there's any doubt that EX gives most people here the hardest time.

There's no point in arguing this further, but please, from now on, qualify such statements as opinion/personal experience instead of presenting them as fact. This issue is entirely subjective.

I think it's clear to anyone who read my original post that it was my opinion based on my own experience.
