cryix47
I applied for both cards on the household site and got approved for both cards. They both were 19 fee. I called to check the status just to make sure I was approved and the lady said that the Orchard was approved and then she looked at the HSBC and said that she needed to ask me some questions that only i would know so that she could ID me. After she asked the questions she said 300CL and I said great. A few minutes later I got a call back saying that I can only have the HSBC or the Orchard and not both cards. I was really pissed! I need new tradelines and both cards seem to be different cards. Can anyone tell me if they have both cards?
newbie7069
DH has both cards. Do you have any other cards financed by HSBC?They have a limit of only allowing you to have 2 cards through them.
direred
Actually, depending on the type of card, they may permit more, but I believe one is limited to two non-cobranded cards.
LNY
Are you talking HSBC proper and Orchard, or Household and Orchard? Your post was unclear, since you mentioned being on the Household site.

LNY
Well, if they said you can only have one, obviously take the HSBC MC.

Both were $19 fee I did go with the HSBC though because I have never had one and I had the orchard once and let it go bad

Anyway, first you said you were on the Household site, now you say the HSBC site. Which site were you on, and which card did you get? Household or HSBC? Household is owned by HSBC, but it's not an "HSBC Mastercard." Just trying to ascertain why you might have been told you can't have two.
