geekspeed
All,Just last week I received a letter from a CA that had picked up a sprint account that had gone into collections (long story short: tried to get out of an early termination charge -- went straight to collections). I DV'd them right away. Its been at 3 weeks since they received the letter -- and no word -- and the funniest thing is, nothing has touched my CRs. Sprint doesnt show it, nor does the CA (Universal Fidelity LP).Though Universal stopped calling my house the day they received the DV -- still no marks on my CR -- is this normal; whats my next step -- I only DVd because I assumed that the marks would show up and I wanted to get a jump on it.... SecretAgentWoman
Congrats, your DV worked!Easily 80-90% of CAs will just drop your case and move to an easier target when you DV them right away like you did.You will most likely never hear from them again, but save your documentation and watch your mailbox and CRs like a hawk. It could easily be sent to the next CA on the list.
