Bank of America

Recommended Posts

I had a payment agreement with FIA card services for my bank of America credit card account. I made two previous payments on time and for the monthly amount due. Last week however I received a call from another debt collection agency saying that all previous payments made with FIA services to bank of America are now void because they were not satisfied with my payments and that I need to make a 2500 dollar payment by the end of the month or I will be sued. I was unaware that my account was sent to another collection agency, and is now listed as a charge off on my credit report. How do I deal with them?

Hi- this is my first post, Bank of America cought my eye. This bank has a false Auto Repossesion on my Credit Report. I have not yet tried to correct the False information-but visiting here before I start. I also have items in excess of 7 years on my CR also. I am trying to learn all I can before I begin writing to CB's-

Just wondering what procedure to use- Online or write letters or is their a Form for this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bilhar

My Auto loan was with Nations Bank and I paid off the loan prior to BA ,meger, I was in Mich and had a heart problem and could not return to my home in Texas so Nations Bank began a Repo process, When I learned of it, (missed 2 payments) I returned to Texaas and paid off the loan. I have the Original Title and there is no Lien on the Title. The only way for me to have that Free and clear Title is by paying off the loan, as the Title is held by the Bank until the loan is paid off. (Texas) They give you a Title Copy in place of the Original Title.

"...were now void?" I guess you have to pay them all over again.

May we assume you deafaulted on a credit card with BofA, and FIA is the CA that you have been paying?

Who is the 2nd CA, and what is on your credit reports?

fia is the card issuer with the b of a sticker on it..they provide cards for other lenders as well...

Bilhar-Welcome. I don't want to sound like an A$$hole but you should probably post a separate thread to get your answer. Most consider that thread jacking. If you post your own thread, you may get better answers to your questions. Sorry for having to say that but I want to see you get the help your looking for. Thanks and welcome.
