rjnjr1019
I read on here that a medical bill sol starts at the time of service. anyone know the true to this?
timbercreektech
I think you are correct. Others will confirm. I wanted to chime in and say be aware that the statue of limitations may stop them from reporting it on your credit reports, but may not stop them from collecting via the courts. Just because it may be barred from appearing on your credit reports does not necessarily mean that they can't try and collect. It depends which state your in and whether it is worth it to them. If you search you can find Ohio's statues.
momof5
Actually, if you have made payments to them and then stop, the DOFD begins then, not the date of service.
