row
I was just wondering do SOL apply to student loans? The reason I ask is because as i posted in another thread I reviewed my Ex report and notice that my student loan is being reported as a positive account with no lates or deferrments (it has never been reported positive and i have tons of late payment and over the last several years i have had it in deferrment) and now I am wondering is because the SOL is up. I had this account since 2/1999. Do student loans fall off report after 7 years? I thought student loans stayed permanently...i may be wrong...seeking information ...by the way i live in NY...If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. direred
There is no SOL on student loans -- but late payment notations do drop off after 7 years. Positive trades generally stay on for 10 years.(stupid T key)
