dwo4910
I had two late pay credit cards and 3 inquiries that I was trying to get off my CR ... sent letters off CMRRR ... they came back as undeliverable. How is Equifax "verifying" if the address they have listed on CR is incorrect? What should my next step be since I cannot dispute information being reported with OC?Thanks! MadinKS
How is Equifax "verifying" if the address they have listed on CR is incorrect? They use a computer system called eOscar. Search for that and it will show you the process. What should my next step be since I cannot dispute information being reported with OC?Is there a phone number for the OC? You might call them and get the address. Or search the web for it. Just today, I got back a GW letter because the address is different than the on the CR. Sucks to spend $4.64 on a round trip letter. OOOH. Snuck that one by SAW!

MadinKS
SAW-You're too slow for my quickness. Better luck next time.
dwo4910
I had not seen the MOV ... I went and read and it was extremely helpful ... thank you both!
MadinKS
The MOV is spotty at best, but it's worth a shot. If the CRAs respond and give you the information you need then great. I hope it works out for you.

MadinKS
Yeah, but do you agree MOV is not a great tool that will be effective all the time? Even though it should be. I'm not listening....
zfire
I got around that one...kind of, by when I sent things off last week, I sentduplicate letters to two of em, one to the other address listed, and one to the one on the letter. (yeah, spendy) but one way was just priority with delivery confirmation. I am glad I did it, because as of this morning, thepriority ones had been delivered, but the CMRRR's hadn't. They were SOLFOAD letters though, so maybe not so important an the other kind. I have dutifully stapled my postal site conformation info along with the receiptsto the letters, copies, and envelopes that I kept for my records.
