answer2prayer
Please correct me if I'm wrong...but I believeSOL for NC is 4 yrs..so if your last pmt was in Oct. 03 then the date you bacame delinquent is Nov. 03...so your SOL is Nov. 07...Was this acct. discharged in a BK? From what you are seeing it looks to me they are reporting monthly...don't know what the couple of random months with OK/unknown means....Don't know if you can do anything about that? I'll leave that up to the more experienced!
misinfo
Sorry, this is not a bankruptcy, it is a charge off/collection, but on my cr it says charge off/collection/bankruptcy. Hope this helps.
answer2prayer
If you haven't filed BK and they are reporting as so I'd dispute it !
Tazjeepcj7
If you dispute the bankruptcy section and have it removed you should probably expect a call from a collection agency to follow...
MadinKS
If it were me, I would hold off on any action until the SOL has expired. Like taz said, if you dispute this right now, you will wake the sleeping scumbags at the CA and they will make every effort to get this into court before the SOL expires. They might also try to re-age the account like ASSet Acceptance has done to me and several others. Not that they won't anyway, but the risk increases w/dispute. If it's not a dire emergency to dispute, just wait till Nov or Dec to dispute. Then if the CAs come a callin', you can tell them to FOAD. JMHO. BTW, welcome. kevin3344
We need more information. When did this account first go delinquent? If your last payment was 10/03 it will remain until 10/10 or thereabouts. We will need more information from the TL...likeDate ReportedDate OpenedDate of 1st Delinquency (EQ)
answer2prayer
Is there any reason that you are wanting it off right away like purchasing home, re-fi, etc. or are you just trying to clear up report? I agree with the others, wait to dispute till after SOL if you can...As they say leave sleeping dogs alone!

As from what I can see they are the only CRA that reports all those lines of info on reporting dates....Do you have an EQ report? They show your Date of 1st Deliquency....otherwise if you are absolutely sure that your last pmt was in Oct 03 then your SOL should be around NOV 07....Since you aren't wanting to buy until the end of the year, personally I still feel like the others wait until it goes out of SOL...that way when you dispute the bankruptcy and you "wake up the sleeping dogs"...if they file suit after your dispute your defense will be out of SOL....I would think that if you didn't file BK and all your other accts do show any BK status then it should probably be a probably be an easy one to get corrected...at least I'd think so.....but you never in this crazy credit battle!!!Good luck! If it is in fact Dec. 2002 and not Oct. 2003 then you'd actually be out of your SOL right now...How can they not have an acct #??? This definitely needs to be disputed but the question is when...now or after Nov., depends on your SOL and you!!PSmisinfo...who is the CA?? You have never stated that.....that helps alot for everyone to know what "scumbag" this is to see if they are known for re-aging, etc....
