Please correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe

SOL for NC is 4 yrs..so if your last pmt was in Oct. 03 then the date you bacame delinquent is Nov. 03...so your SOL is Nov. 07...

Was this acct. discharged in a BK?

From what you are seeing it looks to me they are reporting monthly...don't know what the couple of random months with OK/unknown means....

Don't know if you can do anything about that? I'll leave that up to the more experienced!

If it were me, I would hold off on any action until the SOL has expired. Like taz said, if you dispute this right now, you will wake the sleeping scumbags at the CA and they will make every effort to get this into court before the SOL expires. They might also try to re-age the account like ASSet Acceptance has done to me and several others. Not that they won't anyway, but the risk increases w/dispute. If it's not a dire emergency to dispute, just wait till Nov or Dec to dispute. Then if the CAs come a callin', you can tell them to FOAD. JMHO. BTW, welcome.:)++

Date opened = March 2002

Date of status = January 2004

Last payment Date = October 2003

Credit limit $1,262

Charge off amount $771

I am trying to buy a home in November or December of 2007

Are you pulling this info off your EX report? As from what I can see they are the only CRA that reports all those lines of info on reporting dates....

Do you have an EQ report? They show your Date of 1st Deliquency....

otherwise if you are absolutely sure that your last pmt was in Oct 03 then your SOL should be around NOV 07....

Since you aren't wanting to buy until the end of the year, personally I still feel like the others wait until it goes out of SOL...

that way when you dispute the bankruptcy and you "wake up the sleeping dogs"...if they file suit after your dispute your defense will be out of SOL....

I would think that if you didn't file BK and all your other accts do show any BK status then it should probably be a probably be an easy one to get corrected...at least I'd think so.....but you never in this crazy credit battle!!!

Good luck!

Account Number Not on record

Account Type Revolving

Credit Limit

(High Credit)

$767

Minimum Monthly Payment (Terms) $0

Date Opened March, 2002

Date of Last Activity December, 2002

This is what Equifax is reporting, the previous post is Experian. So, now I am second guessing myself as to when the last payment was really made. And how do I fix this because the FICO scores of Experion is so much lower than TU and Equifax

Date of Last Activity is not your DOFD...the majority of the dates of last activity on my EQ is n/a???

You need to find out your DOFD it is really important. If it is in fact Dec. 2002 and not Oct. 2003 then you'd actually be out of your SOL right now...

How can they not have an acct #???

This definitely needs to be disputed but the question is when...now or after Nov., depends on your SOL and you!!

PS

misinfo...who is the CA?? You have never stated that.....that helps alot for everyone to know what "scumbag" this is to see if they are known for re-aging, etc....
