nokiroshi
Hi everyone,I'm being sued by an LLC who acquired one of my debts. I looked them up in residentagentinfo.com. They had a listing and their status is active. One thing confused me...under the Jurisdiction listing it says Delaware. They do have a California address (where I am) and an agent for service of process. So they're legit to do business in CA, right?thanks for your help! direred
The stuff in registeredagentinfo is really only for service of process (e.g. if you sue them). If they hired an attorney to come after you, that person needs to be admitted to the bar of the court they're suing in, and you'd send a response to the attorney they hired, not to their registered agent.
