andknapp
What should I do if a CA is doing hard pulls on my reports but never even contacts me? Can you sue for something like that. I have Bronson & Migl, Pennrco, and REcovery Management Services. Now RMS, they do have an account of mine, but are they allowed to do hard pulls still? Transunion is the only report that the CA shows up as hard pulls.
unusualsuspect
CA can do hard pulls, as kind of a screening. If they think you would be worth the effort to try and collect... the best way to get rid of them is to write the bureau and state that you have no business relationship with the CA. 90% of the time, it will get those pulls taken off. If that doesn't work, then write the CA and advise them they violated the FCRA and FDCPA and if they don't retract the inquiry, you'll sue!!What should I do if a CA is doing hard pulls on my reports but never even contacts me?
