Newbie to Credit Repair

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this site and I think it's absolutely great. There's a wealth of information and I've been an avid reader for the past couple of weeks so I thought I would post my first question today.

I'm just about to start down the long road of credit repair. I'm looking at clearing up my husband's CR (wow, I remembered this abbreviation). It's not looking too good at the moment. I've got the 3 CRA reports and they all have the following:-

1 Repo

2 CO's

5 CA's.

These TL's are all from California and have DOFD's of 2002 (it's a long story of how these came about so I won't bore you guys).

All of these were paid off in 06/07 of 2006 via different CA's (yes I know, how stupid was I? If I'd found this site sooner I wouldn't have bothered but never mind it's done now). Anyway I'm writing to all 3 CRA's to try and get these deleted so I'm gonna do the dispute letters. Now I'm not very good at this so please be gentle with your replies guys but should I be disputing these as "not mine" or should I use something else.

Sorry about the length of this post but just thought I'd introduce myself and bring you all up to scratch.

Welcome! It's probably a good thing your in TX now. From what I have read around here Texas has some of the BEST laws when it comes to cleaning up credit.

Number one being when you DV no mater when, they MUST respond

You can still apply the Primer sting, even on Paid collections..
