I had a public record on my report that should not be there. I disputed it with CRA's and they just updated it. I called the company which it was under, and they sent me a letter stating that there was no account under my name or ss#. I called public courthouse and they said they could not delete it. what do i do because it is inaccurate and it should not be on there and i dont know how to get rid of it. help

Have the OC call the court house and inform them of the error and that it needs to be corrected. Get a letter from the OC stating that this was inserted in your credit file in error and that there is NO BALANCE OWED or Judgement against you. Send this letter to the CRA's with a written dispute.
