Renai3
I DV'd Forward Properties (FP- rec'd 4/24), Platinum Capital Investments (PC- rec'd 4/23)), and Midpoint for an HSBC charge off/sold account. HSBC says they sold it to FP in January, but I never received anything from them. PC placed a TL on my TU and EX reports in March (which is how I found out and why I dv'd). TU dispute just came back verified; I have yet to receive validation from these people (violation #1- told you I was gonna catch someone with their pants down...see post "Midpoint are idiots"). Now, here's the thing- FP is in Dallas, PC says in Grapevine which is 28 minutes away. My TU report says this account was placed with PC in January. I'm beginning to wonder if they are the same company but reporting differently.Oh, I just noticed something else: By OC (on TU), it says HSBC Orchard 011907, which is the date HSBC told me they sold it.The stats on PC from TU:PLATINUM CAPITAL INVESTMPO BOX 2504GRAPEVINE, TX 76099-2504(817) 251-7000The stats on PC from Yahoo # search:Platinum Capital Investments(817) 251-70001245 S Main StGrapevine, TX 76051PC has a file in BBB (2 complaints in last 12 months), Forward Properties does not. FP has a website, PC does not. Godaddy.com shows FP website administration is Gordon Engle. Have I heard that name before? So far, it's not looking like the same company, but...Renai

stancil1
So you've DV'd all 3 CAs, just remember that because FP is in the State of Texas, they are bound by the TDCA. I would just wait the 30 days, send another round of DVs if they haven't responded, wait another 30 days and if they still haven't responded by this point and are still verifying, you should have plenty of evidence of violations. Just make sure that you print your credit out each time they verify. Also, dont forget to dispute immediately after you send DVs with all 3 CRAs. Upon receipt of verification from CRAs, send out requests for MOV. Do all this in writting so that you have a good paper trail. If this doesn't get the job done, you'll have to send out ITS letters.Hope this helpsD

stancil1
Yes, you have a right to know how the CRA verified the information.
