5thsfg
I DV'd a CA and they agreed to delete a TL...i have a letter from them saying that they would delete...but they only deleted from EX and EQ ..the TL is still showing on TU..What would be my next step ...write the CA and tell them the TL isnt deleted from TU or should i send the Letter i received from the CA to TU ..it appears to me that this is the fault of the CRA...any advice would be great
SecretAgentWoman
First, in my experience, TU is VERY slow at updating, so it could be they just haven't processed the delete request yet.Second, all you have to do is send a copy of the letter along with your delete request to whatever agency, and that should hasten the deletion. onthedot
Second, all you have to do is send a copy of the letter along with your delete request to whatever agency, and that should hasten the deletion. What will the CRA think when they see a PFD letter though? Wouldn't they be testy about seeing a pay for delete offer?
5thsfg
it's not a pay for delete ..they agreed to delete it but gave no reason ..
derekpritchard
as long as it does not say it is a "Paid for delete" then you are good! Just make a copy of the letter and send it to the CRA's and ask that they send you an updated CR notating the deletion!congrats on the removal! QM07
why do the CRA's care whether its pay for deletion? They should have no legal say in it regardless, because if part 1 agrees to do something in return for something else, and signs the letter, then they are legally obligated to do so.Or in the whacky world of evil collections does that not apply.
