andknapp
is there a way to tell a ca that unless they agree not to sell the account, attempt to ever collect again and not to report the debt to the cra that i will sue them for the violations that they have committed? i really don't want to have to go to court with these people and right now im not really in the position to settle with them either.thanks....angie
thomassl
You really do not have any control over whether they sell the account or not! If that were the case, you could have sued the original creditor for selling the account???? If they sue you and there is a judgment, there are statue of limitations on some states which go to 15 years!! Most of the CA's have been sued before so this is not new to them. I'm not completely sure what you are trying to do regarding your debt but if you let us know, we can guide you in the right direction!
andknapp
I'm fighting against ars right now, i have a thread in the credit repair section about them already. they won't send me the proper validation and they keep reporting. i just want them to go away and leave me alone, especially if they can't send me the validation that is needed. I dv'd them twice in the first 30 days after receiving a letter from them. they sent the same paper back to me twice and then just sent me a tax season offer on saturday. they have at least three violations against them and counting seeing as how they called me today trying to get money and i recorded it.angie
