wolfhound
...and Wolpoff & Abramson the common factor?on the claim W&A filed they list Colonial Credit as the assignee for MBNA. Now, on a recent letter for W&A(apparently their giving me a "last chance" to deal with them before arbitration) they list Palisades Aquisitions as the assignee.WHta's going on, are these all connected somehow, and is the usual procedure for the assignee to change after a claim has been filed? elyse449
Check Bud Hibbs' site on what he has to say about W&A...interesting reading. Apparently, some of these collection companies are OWNED by W&A or otherwise a "smoke screen" of who they work THROUGH to collect debt.Elyse
wolfhound
I was wondering if the fact that the assignee changed between the time the claim was filed and this week would be something I could use to question the proceedings.
