waytogo3 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 Is a bill of sale proof of verification ... when i sent a letter to the ca to validate i own this dept he sent me a letter of bill of sale and said thats all the proof he needs and also stated he had my ss# which he put on the letter in the letter to him i stated i wanted What the money you say I owe is for; Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe; Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe; Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable; Identify the original creditor; Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agentprovide a Copy of the original signed loan agreement or credit card application thanks for your time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
droolyn Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 If you are within the first thirty days of receiving a statement, they must provide you with most of the information you have requested. I dont think a bill of sale is enough. Send another letter and include your first letter and there response. Check out the sticky under the debt validation portion of the forum.
