ps7psp9
Can an incorrect spelling of your name on your credit report make your score go down.
Macwench
I don't think so. One of the CRAs had my last name spelled wrong - my real name was listed under the AKA section - but when they corrected it my score didn't change.
Lyssarene
I don't think so, but I disputed mine as they have about 10 different spellings of my name - Just sent that off this weekend
zfire
Don't expect the CRA's to get it right the first time you inform them oftheir blunder on your name. I am getting ready to fire off another letterto EX over a non existant middle initial. They did get rid of 5 other variations, but they just HAD to leave one. That's fine, I like free reports!Nothing changed on scores.
