kellyms25
Does a CRA have to report the last activity date because on my Equifax report it has n/a next to date of last activity. My Transunion report does not show the date of last activity either. How do I find out this information?
darsar
I'm new too, but I'd guess the best route would be to call the CRA and ask.
thomassl
Remember that the "date of last activity" is not the same as "date of last payment"!
kellyms25
Yeah I know. I just need to know when the last activity occurred on the account.
thomassl
Yeah I know. I just need to know when the last activity occurred on the account.I think you mean when your "last activity" as last activity means anyone doing anything on your account which includes collection agencies. You should contact the CRA's to get this date if it does not appear on your credit report. You want to know your "DOFD" date of first delinquency. They are required to have this date. kellyms25
Yeah, I do need to know the DOFD. Should I contact the CRA through the mail or over the phone. I don't think that this should matter.
VonAngel (aka EarthAngel)
Yeah, I do need to know the DOFD. Should I contact the CRA through the mail or over the phone. I don't think that this should matter. The CRA only knows what is reported to them. You would need to contact the creditor to find out the date.
