RayvonTCO
Anyone have effective dispute reasons for different situations? For example, the best or effective dispute reason for a paid charge off may be "not mine"Is there a sticky or page out there with a list of them? ChicagoGirl
Just my two cents...sorry I don't have a great answer for you. I am just a newbie and getting the hang of it all myself. I do suggest getting the book "Good Credit is Sexy" it's a great book with tons of information and lots of helpful direction. I've posted several questions and everyone on here has been super helpful, but sometimes it take a little while to get an answer.I know using the search feature can sometimes be overwhelming..especially when you get 20 pages of results...but reading all those posts related to your search can help too.I read the book, spent a couple weeks reading through old & new posts everyday and then started my journey. All I have sent out so far is my dispute's to the CRA for myself and DH. All those were disputed as "No knowledge of this account". If they come back verified, then I ask the CA or OC for the documentation that they used to verify the account. If they send anything, then I scrutinze all the records and make sure that everything jives, if not, then you dispute with whatever...
MadinKS
I would start with something like "no knowledge of account" and the next one, if verified, would be more specific. I would dispute the DOLA, DOFD, or the status. Pin the CA down to violating by specifically pointing to a known error or inaccuracy. Good luck.
