Bumpage question

Recommended Posts

I started with 30 inquiries on TU, 26 on EX and 16 n EQ. I got rid of all the inquiries on EQ by using the link on this site. I have my TU inqs down to 8 through bumping on TC. My EX inquiries have stayed at 26 dispite my bumping attempts.

Question is, is there a way to bump or eliminate EX inquiries? Searches have shown that if you have another EX product that the bumping doesn't work. I did try both the Privacy Guard and Amex Credit Secure products but do not have them now.

Not even begging will work for EX. The only thing that has worked for me twice was the fact that I had a fraud alert on my report. I sent in a dispute to the fraud department and the majority of them were removed.

Never able to bump for Exp. I placed a fraud alert and then disputed and all but those tied to a tradeline of mine were deleted from Experian. I submitted a letter once, nothin. A second letter, almost all. I just submitted my third and final dispute request and hoping a couple more are knocked off. The fraud alert lasts 90 days.

Equifax deleted EVERY inquiry I had through its online dispute link. yay!

Transunion started to bump after about 30 days of pulls for me. It seemed to delete 2-3 every 2-3 days. Now it deletes a couple about once a week with daily pulls. I'm nervous about the split report but I have only 4 more to bump. lol

I had about 25-30 inquiries on each and I currently have TU-4, EX-7, EQ-1

Gotta love these tricks. ;)

Well 9 of mine were from checking out rates on Lendingtree and another 6 or 7 were from shopping around for a car loan. I never even closed on either just shopping around and got zapped. This occurred before I realized the damage a gazillion inquiries could do.

How do people rack up 25-30 inquiries?

The highest I went was 8, on any one report...

I think in the EQ 24hr dispute thread there are people with 60 inquiries! When I went shopping for a car, I pulled my own myfico scores for all of the CRA's and took that in to the loan department. I told them to evaluate my credit off what I have provided and tell me what kind of rate they could get me. When they told me the "estimate" I allowed them to pull and only got about 4 hard inquiries vs. 20.

I received my 25-30 inquiries because once I found out I was being approved for credit I kind of got carried away applying for EVERYTHING. No worries though I realized I had a major obsession and quit applying. Placed a fraud alert on there to help with my addiction as well. The inquiries hit me bad but thankfully they were removed easily.

Yes I am addicted to credit cards. Good thing my utilization is like 3%

;) It's not wise and I dont suggest anyone get 25-30. DANG!

I had 67 yes, 67 of them on EQ.. Now, I have one. How did I end up with 67 might you ask? Try buying a car.. twice... First time I had no clue they would submit to as many lenders as they did. Second time I knew, I saw at least 40 companies on their computer screen with a "yes, no, maybe" comment. The dealership submitted my score with my app electronicly and the banks computer pulled my CR if it thought it could do the loan..

2 cars, 67 IQ's.....
