sunshine46 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 The only thing they can do is take the offer because they can put a judgement on your credit report but cannot garnish your wages as government income, pension plans, military disable benefits are protected. Check for your state possibly under small claims or civil procedures and even check with Attorney General's office for Illnois.
