barderspond
Okay, so I see there's a collections listed on my CRAs from "Cach, LLC", and everything I've read about this dandy little outfit is BEWARE.I plan to DV them, but nowhere on the credit reports does it list an address, and they have no offices in MN (I checked for license as well...none), and I do not recall seeing any letters from them...so...How on earth do I send them a DV if I have no address to send it to? Should I just go to the collect america website and use whatever address they list there?..and shouldn't the date of last activity on my report match the date is was assigned? Or at least, the date it went supposedly delinquent? Date of last activity is 2007 for a debt they claim is from 2005.
MadinKS
Apparently there owned by Collect America or something. Found this on Bud Hibbs. Hope it helps. Same addie on the BBB website.http://www.budhibbs.com/coll_to_avoid_list.htmhttp://data.denver.bbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=21000212..and shouldn't the date of last activity on my report match the date is was assigned? Or at least, the date it went supposedly delinquent? Date of last activity is 2007 for a debt they claim is from 2005.They should report the DOLA of the last activity, payment, etc. If that wasn't in 2007, you need to dispute that. barderspond
Thanks!!! I'm going to dispute as "not my account" first, then move on to specifics if I cannot get any traction that way. Fortunately, they're not on Equifax...seems everything I dispute with EQ only ends up getting worse.
