bossfan 10 Posted June 9, 2007 Report Share Posted June 9, 2007 We disputed a Wells Fargo Card Services account that was settled for less than full amount in 2003, but was continuing to be reported as "Key Derogatory" ever since then on his Experian Account. We were then notified of a "Possibly Negative" change to his report which now says "Settlement Reported" Did we just screw ourselves? What should we do next? Link to post Share on other sites

What should we do next?Before you disputed, was it reporting as settled? It sounds like they just updated the CR to indicate paid in settlement, which won't do much if anything to your report.
