Git-R-Done
I was contacted in Dec. 06 by the collection Attorney about my debt. I never refused that I owe the debt but requested a payment history and info on how over due fees were being charged. 6 months later Attorney sent a partial payment history and nothing more. Original deliquency began in Dec 2000. Has the statute of limitations run out (Mass law is 6 years)? What should I do?
IHateCAs
It's potentially OOS. Depends on such things on state law on partial payments and the contents of letters you sent them and such.
Git-R-Done
I have attempted numerous times to contact OC about a settlement and to validate account. I never recieved a reply. My last contact to there attorney was in Feb 07 Stateing that over the past two months they never were able to prove the amount they said I owed. I even sent a settlement offer to the attorney and recieved nothing again. Last known payment was Feb 2001.
