Need letter for "payment" plan with advanta

We had some hardships last year and can't make the minimum payment when card went to 39% int. supposedly advanta has a "hardship" program, we have sent /faxed three letters describing our "hardship" and asking for a payment plan and they said they wanted to know how we would make the minimum scheduled payments when the payment plan was over before they agreed to one.. we have tried to explain 3 times but keep going though a "loop" back to square one.. does anyone know the 'magic" phrase they are looking for? need letter that works.
