dazedandconfusedincali
I currently am waiting on a creditor that has not validated whatsoever. One from Bay Area Credit Service, that they purchased this year and as soon as they reported it I req'd validation. By the way, they report AFS HOV as the OC?? I disputed with CRA, they deleted from TU, but verified with EQ. So there I see one violation. I sent them another 15 day validation and am awaiting for something from them. My next step is to send ITS, do I also send letters to AG, BBB and FTC? What should I say to them in my complaint any suggestions? Thanks
Nascar3
From my experience the BBB is no help whatsoever. Completely useless. That is not to say you shouldn't file a complaint with them. It never hurts to file complaints with everyone you can. Just letting you know not to expect too much from them. Good luck!

bigjohnstud4200
From my experience the BBB is no help whatsoever. Completely useless. That is not to say you shouldn't file a complaint with them. It never hurts to file complaints with everyone you can. Just letting you know not to expect too much from them. Good luck!I'm 3 for 3 when complianing to the BBB. In my situations, I have gathered a ton of violations first, then right before preparing to sue I make complaints. First might be FTC, followed up in one week to one to the BBB, followed up by one to the AG. In all of my cases, I have heard nothing back from anyone except the BBB. I have gotten deletes and have leveraged them with violations and copies of the first couple of pages of a suit and complaints. Usually, the BBB is the one that reports back to me that they are going to delete. I think this is probably b/c if they are a member of the BBB and want to stay in good standing they make it look to the BBB as if they are doing the right thing, while in reality it may be because they know I am not going to drop it and it's not worth hiring defense for the debts they allege and can't back. The lies contained in the CA response to a BBB complaint can come in handy down the road. This is a very good point also.
dazedandconfusedincali
Thank you so much for your reply BigJohn I've followed the steps and this is my last resort if they don't get deleted by next week. I'm not sure how many violations that I have against them. But I've got to start working on that now thanks again.
