After 18 months if you have no late payments they will refund your $ and convert your card to unsecured. If you close it competely it could drop your credit score because this card has some age to it. Other factors on your cr need to be taken into consideration but just a heads up that closing the orchard could hurt your credit score.

I don;t know what # you are trying to call but I would do whatever I had to to find someone who can direct you. You know these companies are, half the people don't know what they are doing but keep trying although frustrating to get your 500 bux back and keep the account open would be a big +. Good luck! And if I'm reading correctly, it shows high balance of 585 vs. 500 CL, which is a big no-no. You should never be close to your limit let alone go over it...probably why they haven't sent the card...until you bring the balance down some anyway. whocares
The only reason the balance was ever that high was they applied their annual fee without sending me a new card...and then I went over so they slapped me with a 35.00 over limit fee...I will just pay them off...BTW the balance is less than 400 right now... kevin3344
Yeah, I would just close it. You don't need that when you're trying to build your credit.
