iscrewedupbig
I was looking around just to see what else is out there, browsing...figured I'd check my EQ Fico score to see if it had taken any hits from the Orchard Bank card...and...MY EQUIFAX SCORE IS NOW 715!!! My Crap1 CO just somehow...DISAPPEARED!! I've got 4 student loans that are deferred and showing as paid as agreed and CJ which shows PIF, never late.I have NO IDEA how it just fell off, but it did! Fall off date was not supposed to be until 08/2011, so I can't offer any advice...I had done what everyone else did. Dispute...came back verified (3 times)...and now it's just gone.I'm afraid to dispute it with the EX or TU...although TU already has a dispute in there right now as I've never disputed anything on TU...Last time I checked, my EQ score was 634...and now it's 715...holy hell, folks...Any advice on how to clean up my inquiries on TU/EX would be GREAT, too. My TU is showing as 578 and my EX is showing as 622.
tdhssbn
It happened to me as well. Mine was a CO in November 2001. I thought it was because I was disputing and disputing, but now I am beginning to think they are just trying to clean house or something because it is off all 3 CRA now
lori_nj
I'm in my third dispute with EX about Crap 1, this is my last try, if nothing changes my next step in to pursue court.

You can remove TU inquiries over time by getting a monitoring service that you can pull reports every day such as Truecredit. After 60 days and pulls or so they will drop off daily. It's called "bumping".

Amerikaner83
Ah, thank you. I've never used Truecredit...they REALLY like to make things hard to find it seems...and good luck if you need to call TU for anything...I wanted to correct a US bank CC that was open but listing "closed by consumer" on TU - I called them and the really smart lady accidentally deleted it entirely! i spoke to her supervisor and he was OK but at least he got it back for me. But it hasn't updated and I called them last week. The funny thing is - he told me about truecredit and its accuracies and played it up really well until I told him I was using TC already. That shut him up really quick.HOWEVER: I did a written dispute for 3 Collection accounts with the same company and 2 got deleted (two were paid and one wasn't....they deleted the unpaid and one of the paid ones....weird).Not meaning to thread-jack - but didn't think this mini-rant was worth an entire thread
