AU vs Shared

Recommended Posts

Ok what is the difference if any between shared account and AU. I know AU has no financial reponsibilty other then negative but what about shared?

Do you mean Joint instead of Shared? Joint holders have a financial liability on the account. Is this another question about being an AU on someones account?

Joint or shared means you (for an example) bought a car, and both signed the loan papers. The car is now registered to Dumb and Dumber, Dumb or Dumber, or Dumb and/or Dumber.

Both of you are responsible for the payment.

Authroized is just giving your kid or your other half one of your cards to use, but you owe the bill.

Don't you think I explained that one nicely John?
