sandra1
I could not believe the letters that were sent out. I can do better than that. Im glad I have this website its way better than to pay for credit repair clinic. It even shows a dispute letter from ovation credit repair that mailed to thier customer in error than the actual cr.Heres the site:http://fight-back.us/forum/index.php?showtopic=1166
nylady
Hi Sandra,I also saw another site just like that one. They write the letters as if it came directly from the consumer and I believe they do this purposely to protect themselves.
Master Debator
They write the letters as if it came directly from the consumer and I believe they do this purposely to protect themselves.that is because the consumer has more rights than someone acting on behalf of the consumer does
Recovering Attorney
In any letter you send to the CRAs, you should include a line that says " This is my personal, good-faith request for relief under the FCRA" so they don't think it is a phony letter from a debt-help company like Lexington, or consider it frivilous. bigjohnstud4200
The letters would like like Joe Blow Consumer and that's what lexington's goals are. Not how I do mine, but it gets it accomplished. This just shows that any consumer can do the job of agencies like lexington.Recovering, that's good advise. I've seen it in the past and have forgotten to put that. I won't forget from here on out though.
tommy32
You guys will laugh but I actually hand wrote all of mine !!! LOL I figured if I did that in my own words from my brain now you can't get anymore authentic than that, I bet they were shocked at the Cbs !!! Do you still have to state that FCRA request if you hand write your letters?
CleverCynic
There's no way any of those letters worked?!?!? There's nothing substantial or any specifics to even justify the possibiltiy of removing something...
Fraggle J
I would assume that these people must be doing something right to run a successful business helping people rebuild their credit files.
divemedic
Chiefly because:1 Most people don't know you CAN repair your own credit2 Most who do, do not know how, and3 of those that know how, most people think it too difficult or time consuming. After all, if you can pay someone else to do it...Frankly, Lexington gets the easy deletes, and leaves the tough ones alone. You could do the same with a few well placed letters. The tough ones are the ones that really trash your credit. They need to be sued in order to go away, and the experience you gain by getting the easy deletes yourself help you learn on your way...
